Is this the best pho ever? No... but it's still Pho King Good.

Pho King Good is my to-go pho spot and that's saying a lot because I eat pho on a weekly basis. I don't know if it's because it's super close to my house or the super fast service, but I always gravitate to this place when I'm craving pho. Super large seating area that has booths, long tables and other smaller seating to accommodate any party size. Their service has always been top notch - they  sometimes bring out my pho within 10 minutes of ordering!

My favorite thing about this place is their menu selection. I always get my #4 (round steak and meatballs) pho, but I always glance at their menu selections and I'm always in awe. They have wide varieties of appetizers, pho, rice bowls, plates, other noodles and more. It's a great place to bring anyone even if they don't eat pho but want something else.

Tip - Definitely add a fried donut ($2) to any meal and it'll be the cherry on top.

Was ok. Nice staff, clean restaurant, quick service,  mediocre pho.

Not trying to be mean, but I eat at Vivis and Pho Saigon frequently and this is just not that caliber. It was just ok. The smell of beef broth should not be offputting.

Anyway,  hope they do well, and if you like it, dont let me discourage you from going.  My standard is just different.

Not bad for a Vietnamese joint!

Bun Bo hue: broth flavor was good with all the correct meats. There was tripe, coagulated blood cubes, pork feet (cooked too well IMO... So it was mushy), & cha lua. Broth couldve used more lemon grass but I still enjoyed my bowl.

-pho dac biet: my friend said the broth was missing depth but it did the job. We wanted Vietnamese food. Their bo thai was cooked through and through so thst was disappointing. Their side veggies came with bean sprouts, ONE twig of Thai basil, a wedge of lime, and 2 slices of jalepeno peppers. Missing culantro but that's prob because it's out of season?

-chicken wings: very crispy fried winged (5 pieces) with a side of sweet chili sauce. I thought the menu said "fish sauce" aka nuoc mam wings but I guess I was wrong.

Definitely a version of a dive, but a rather large one. The food was excellent! I believe the spring rolls were among the best I have enjoyed here in Portland. They came out with the wrapping still warm and icy cold greens inside! The peanut sauce was delicious, and a good amount was served with the spring rolls - you don't need to request more.

I enjoyed the vegetarian soup, the name of which escapes me at this time. The interesting factor about this soup was that it had absolutely no salt when it was served to me. So I added all the fresh Thai basil, jalapeño pepper slices, taugé shoots, squirted the lime all over it, added the soy sauce and salt, to MY liking: this was part of the process to make the soup and broth as handmade as possible. Delicious!

I want to come back to try some other dishes; however, their veg options are (sadly) very limited. Meatlovers can enjoy way more different types of dishes than what I can. Probably its location in the burbs allows that, but I hope to see changes in that sooner rather than later. Being a flexitarian I understand the deliciousness of meats, but more than 5 choices of veg dishes would be nice.

Plenty of parking, clean bathroom. Recommend.

My husband and I very randomly stopped in here for dinner. It was overall a great experience. Food was tasty, served fast, place is clean, service friendly. Too easy.
